Biomass-fuelled district heat supply in 1,800 households – Extention of the existing CHP system with a biomass heating plant
The extension of the existing small-scale CHP power plant was aimed at improving and increasing the efficiency of the district heating supply in the town of Baja. Thanks to the biomass heating plant with an installed capacity of 2.5 MW, the system flexibly adapts to the seasonally changing heat demand. The addition of a biomass boiler to the CHP system provides district heating for 1,800 households.
